As owner and editor, I see We Are Family magazine as my third baby. With 10 years grounding as a freelance journalist on many parenting magazines it seemed like a no-brainer: setting up a magazine for LGBT families and parents-to-be was how I could support my community. As well as drawing on my years of experience as a sub editor, proof reader, writer and editor, I also draw on my vast life experience as a world traveller, swimming teacher, maker and lesbian parent.
When I’m not pouring my soul into We Are Family magazine I’m chasing our two energetic boys, Noah, 4, and Eli, 2, or trying to snatch some time with my lovely partner Rowena.
